In your Stride Tutoring calendar, you’ll indicate your availability for 30- or 60-minute sessions
When a student requests a tutoring session, you will be notified immediately on your dashboard or via text notification (if opted in)
Students can upload questions or topics in advance, so you’ll have time to prepare targeted lessons
Meet with your student in the online tutoring room we provide
After each tutoring session, you’ll leave feedback for the student and parent/legal guardian so they can continue their work until the next session.
All Stride tutors must meet the following minimum requirements:
At Stride, ensuring equitable compensation for our tutors is very important to us. Our fee structure entails a student rate of $65 per hour, with a substantial proportion directed towards the tutor’s earnings. Tutors will have opportunities to earn more over time. You will be paid every other week.
We have streamlined the application process as much as possible. After filling out an application, selected candidates will be invited to an information session to learn in more detail what Stride Tutoring has to offer. Tutors will complete a background check where they will provide the following:
We know life can get hectic. Since you have control of your schedule, you can commit to providing as much or as little tutoring as your time allows. There is no minimum number of hours Stride requires you to work. You can be as active as you would like.
