What Parents Want to Know About Online School

The school day is a mix of scheduled, live classes with instruction from certified teachers, assignments and practice skills that students complete at their own pace, and breaks to fit in social activities or other needs.

Parents or other responsible adults act as the Learning Coach for their students. They provide oversight and assistance where needed, including helping students stay on track with assignments and communicating with teachers for extra support.

The learning materials your child needs to complete their classes are included! K12 provides books, art supplies, science equipment, and, oftentimes, even a computer.

Visit the How to Enroll page to find the school that’s right for your family and get started. Sign up for the fall or transfer, whatever works best for your family. We have people ready to help you through the application process and answer your questions.
