K12 believes that together, we can inspire brilliance every day. We're dedicated to helping all our students reach their potential. Part of our commitment involves keeping our students and their families well-informed. Below, you'll find helpful links to the latest K12 announcements, promotions, student contests, and more.
Start Strong and Thrive
At K12, our mission is to transform learning for every student we serve. When students enroll in a K12-powered school, their families become part of a nationwide community of Learning Coaches, teachers, staff, and students. One of the benefits of being part of this community includes access to national programming, engagement opportunities, and support—all aimed at helping students reach their goals.
We know that starting a new school can involve big changes for families. It takes time to adapt, and there may be challenges. We're here to help ensure a smooth transition, working alongside families and schools to provide the support students and Learning Coaches need to start strong and thrive.
Families are encouraged to take advantage of programming and support provided by K12, their schools, and the community of K12 families.

LIVE WALK TO CLASS SESSIONS
Live Walk to Class sessions help new families transition to online learning through a live, interactive training hosted in Blackboard Collaborate. The sessions are designed to help new families prepare for school and include essential start-up information and support, as well as tips and strategies for Learning Coaches across the nation. Live Walk to Class sessions provide Learning Coaches with the opportunity to connect with the larger K12 network of families and resources for continued support from your student’s school and K12.
Sessions are offered July through March and are moderated by the National Family Programming team and led by seasoned K12 Learning Coaches, with customer support representatives ready to help as needed.
K12 Customer Support
Enrolled families have access to K12's customer supportresources, including a team of agents who can supply technical assistance. There are also many resources on the customer support website. Here are a few that are especially helpful for new families:

LEARNING COACH APPRECIATION
K12 is challenging all students to appreciate their Learning Coach!
Our first annual Learning Coach Appreciation extravaganza is our way of thanking our Learning Coaches for everything they do for their families.
To help us celebrate, all students in grades K–12 are encouraged to create artwork, a poem, a song, or use any other imaginative means they'd like to thank their Learning Coach. Tributes must be posted by Friday, March 15, 2019, and will be displayed in our online gallery for all to see.
All are welcome to participate including students, family and staff!
Annual art, music, poetry, and STEM contests are the perfect way to showcase your student's talents and a great way to connect with the larger K12 community. Watch for details here.

STUDENT SUCCESS STORIES
Hear from fellow parents and students how K12 has transformed their education experience.
“I love the quality of education Johanna is receiving,” Elissa said. “She is challenged and engaged. I think the school is doing a great job balancing curriculum with the need to review and prepare for state-mandated tests. We just reregistered for next year!”
