K¹² lessons use a combination of technology and traditional materials.
The online lessons blend text, photos, illustration, animation, audio, and interactivity, giving students an opportunity to see and examine aspects of the world that might otherwise be out of reach. Away from the computer, activities such as reading, planting seeds, or building a model keep things new and exciting and allow students to get hands-on experience.
Every lesson includes the information and tools you need to teach your student. The "About This Course" section gives you an overview of the course, including objectives and the philosophy behind its development. We also encourage you to provide feedback on any of the lessons. Your comments allow us to make improvements to our curriculum based on your real-life experience.
