The South Carolina Public Charter School District has approved SCVCS' application!

The South Carolina Virtual Charter School combines the accountability of public schooling with the highest-quality distance-learning curriculum available today to provide an innovative, highly effective education for South Carolina students.

South Carolina Virtual Charter School (SCVCS) is a state-approved, public school program. The curriculum is provided by K¹², accessed via an Online School (OLS) as well as through more traditional methods, with materials—including books, math manipulatives, even rocks and dirt—delivered right to the family's doorstep.

Parents and students are assigned their own South Carolina State-certified and highly qualified teacher to help guide and track their progress through the curriculum. There are regular, face-to-face meetings as well.

And student/student interaction is also actively encouraged, so South Carolina students are always well-educated and well-socialized.
