Dual Credit Programs and Classes
Earn College Credits While Still in High School
High school students in schools powered by K12 have an advantage for the future.
Through partnerships with local colleges and universities, eligible students may enroll in courses at participating institutions and apply college credit to both their high school diploma and a post-secondary degree. In addition to earning these "dual credits" (referred to as "early college credits" in some states), students will experience their first taste of attending college while still in high school and may reduce the long-term cost of attaining their post-secondary degree.
Credit availability is subject to each individual school's participation, and benefits vary by state and school.
