Embark12 Online
Online High School Course List - EMBARK12 - K12
Course Overview
embarK12 online is a dynamic collection of engaging educational activities for children who are 3 to 6 years of age. Designed for flexible use, more than 800 interactive activities are available in this product. Children or parents can select online activities from a set of 12 general categories displayed on a web landing page. For example, if a child needs reinforcement of math skills, the "Math" collection would be appropriate. If a child enjoys reading, the "Storytime" category would be a great choice. Every activity was developed to meet specific learning objectives that promote intellectual and socio-emotional development in age-appropriate contexts. Product content supports basic skills and concepts required for kindergarten readiness, such as early literacy and numeracy. As a flexible product, activity order is not prescribed. Users select desired content and can revisit any of the activities multiple times. Parents can manage settings for embark online, find suggestions for selecting appropriate activities, and create an activity list.

People and Places

Some experiences build basic geography skills and visit other places, while other activities focus on plants and animals, how they are alike and different, and how people interact with the natural world.
Our World
These activities teach children about their own bodies, how they move, and how people are alike and different. Some experiences focus on the weather and how the sun, moon, and earth interact, while other activities explore motion and how objects react to different physical conditions. Some activities investigate the built environment and how people use technology and materials.
Music

A large collection of songs is available, and users can also create their own tunes with the “Music Maker.” Age-appropriate music videos are also part of this set of activities.
Art
This unique set encourages users to be creative, with activities that enable the design of posters, cards, pictures, collages, and other graphics. Users will enjoy these opportunities to be producers of original content.
Storytime

This set takes users directly to an interactive calendar so children can learn how to use a typical calendar. The tool introduces the days of the week, months of the year, and weather vocabulary. It also includes calendar buddies that can be dressed appropriately for local weather conditions.
Games
This set includes a variety of interactive games that reinforce basic skills and concepts while providing children with opportunities to have fun while playing. Audio narration supports these visually stimulating games.
