How to Enroll
Students entering kindergarten through seventh grade who have been enrolled in home education, private school or new to Florida are now eligible to apply. Prior public school attendance is no longer required.
Begin the process of enrolling your student(s) by following the steps below.

Create an Account
Enrolling your student is important—but it shouldn't be difficult. We've designed our enrollment process to provide you with the tools, resources and guidance you'll need, any time you need it.
All applicants must obtain the required intent form in-person at the Escambia School Choice Office. Call 850-469-5457 to schedule an appointment. Enrollment will not be approved without completion of this step.
All other enrollment documents must be submitted directly to the K12 Enrollment Processing Center.
Submit an Application
To submit an Application, you'll provide us with basic information about your student and choose an available school.
Receive Official Approval
Upon successful completion of the enrollment process, your student will be approved. Please check your email for important information regarding your student's approval and how to access the Online School.
Note: Applications must be reviewed by District Administrators before FINAL approval for enrollment is given.
K12 will update your dashboard regarding enrollment status once approval notification is given by the district.
In order to continue in the enrollment process, your next step is to visit the school choice office in person to complete the District Intent form and meet with an Escambia Virtual Academy representative. To check their hours of availability, please call 850.469.5457.
