Admission Requirements
Students interested in attending YCCS Virtual High School must:
- Be 18–21 years of age,
- Have at least 12 credit hours from high school,

- Have a copy of their birth certificate, social security card, or state ID.
Compliancy Documentation
If students meet the above eligibility requirements, the following forms are required to complete enrollment:
- All High School Transcripts: If you have attended multiple schools, please be sure to provide a transcript for each school as proof of credit.
- Immunization Records: Students are required to provide current immunization records. Please ensure the records are complete and up-to-date.
- Proof of Residency: Students are required to provide a household bill, such as utility or cable, to establish Chicago residency.
If applicable, you may also need to provide:
- PSAE/ACT Scores: Provide scores for all tests taken to ensure they don’t participate in the standardized testing twice.
- Student Withdrawal and Release Form: If you are not currently enrolled in a high school program, this document must be completed by your most recent high school in order for Chicago Public Schools to allow you to enroll in our program.
Once you have collected all of the documents listed above, please schedule an appointment by calling 312.429.0027, or stop by the school office, to continue the enrollment process.
Given the limited space within our program, all students will be required to complete a lottery form at our school office. To learn more about the lottery process, please visit our Lottery Procedures page.
