A letter from the Wyoming Virtual School's Principal
Dear Parent,
Welcome to the Wyoming Virtual School (WYVS). WYVS offers you the opportunity to provide your children a rich and comprehensive education in an innovative new public school. Combining a challenging academic curriculum, dedicated teachers, parent involvement, and innovative technologies, WYVS delivers an engaging education to students in grades K-6. Our teachers work in partnership with you to design and implement an individual learning plan for your child. Our administrative staff is committed to the success of every child in the program.
I applaud your commitment to the education of your children, and I know that the Wyoming Virtual School can assist you in helping them reach their full potential. WYVS offers the rigorous and challenging K¹² curriculum, as well as individualized instruction designed to allow your child to master each lesson. The program provides accountability through state regulations and school policies; feedback on student achievement through progress reports, conferencing, and standardized assessments; and flexibility in instructional strategies and scheduling.
