Enrollment & Attendance FAQs

Who can attend WYVA?
The Wyoming Virtual Academy serves full-time students in grades K-12 who are official residents of the state of Wyoming.

How do I enroll my child in the Wyoming Virtual Academy?
To find out how to enroll in WYVA, visit our How to Enroll page.

How many of my children can I enroll in the Wyoming Virtual Academy?
Because Wyoming Virtual Academy provides all the lesson plans and materials needed for kindergarten through grade 12, many parents find it easy to enroll multiple children in the program. We currently have families with as many as five children enrolled in other public virtual schools being guided by one learning coach or mentor in conjunction with the support of highly qualified, state-licensed teachers.

What does it cost to attend the Wyoming Virtual Academy?
Since WYVA is a public school program of Niobrara County School District #1, there is no tuition. However, students and families will be responsible for providing some consumable materials (such as printer ink and paper).
