WIVA's staff is composed of professionals and specialists dedicated to making a virtual academy a very real learning experience.

Justine Johnson, High School Advisor
Justine came to WIVA at the beginning of the 2007 school year, bringing with her previous experience and expertise in customer support, sales and marketing, and executive administrative support. Her first endeavor was to assist in opening the high school, added in the 2007–2008 school year. In the five years she served at WIVA, she's been in the capacities of admin support, community development manager, state testing logistics, and student/learning coach support. As the high school advisor, she is excited to bring her knowledge of curriculum and systems to assist high school students and their learning coach. She lives out the WIVA high school pledge that "WIVA is a place where students succeed, not fail" and is dedicated to helping all students succeed.

Kathy Schefft, Enrollment Manager
Kathy Schefft has been with K¹² for nine years. She has the distinction of being the first K¹² employee hired for the Wisconsin Virtual Academy, and has served as both office manager, open enrollment specialist, and enrollment manager during her career here. Kathy brings more than 18 years of office experience to WIVA, including working in accounting, data/order entry, customer service, engineering, human resources, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and shipping and receiving.

Kathy Siegmann, Elementary Advisor
Kathy Siegmann has joined the WIVA team as a K–8 Advisor. She has a bachelor's degree in education from UW–Madison and has been a private tutor for the past ten years. Kathy has been involved with virtual education in Wisconsin for many years, four of those years as a learning coach with WIVA. Kathy is a self-proclaimed parent advocate with a passion for helping families find educational opportunities that best meet their children's needs. She is thrilled to be a part of the WIVA team that supports WIVA families.

Jean Stube, Elementary Advisor
Jean Stube was a learning coach to her own children for four years prior to joining the WIVA staff in Jully 2011 as a K–8 Advisor. She believes in virtual education and enjoys helping WIVA families in be successful!

Jeanie Witt, Office Administrator and Manager of Operations
Jeanie recently joined the K¹² team and brings extensive experience with 20 years in office management to various departments in several industries including manufacturing, retail, services, and the public sector. She is proficient in information systems, human resources, accounting, marketing, sales, logistics, and customer service. In Jeanie's free time, she is highly involved in the community and school district and enjoys helping people. She is also very involved with local Cub Scouts and loves teaching and helping them while organizing fun, educational events. It's her profound passion to see them grow and succeed as adults, knowing she helped them along their journey.
