Meet our Staff

WAVA's staff is composed of professionals and specialists dedicated to making a virtual academy a very real learning experience. Here are some of the people who work behind the scenes to keep WAVA responsive to your needs:

Jamie Hammon, WAVA’s Enrollment Manager, joined WAVA in July of 2008. She received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Central Washington University in 2005, and went on to work as a substitute teacher for two school districts in Washington State. She then worked for the University of Phoenix as an Enrollment Advisor, which made for a smooth transition to her current position with WAVA.

Margie Jenné is our K-12 Registrar. She joined our staff in August 2007. She is responsible for enrollment, state reporting, and course management. She comes to us with 12 years of school secretary experience.

Amber Reygers is WAVA’s Personal Admissions Liaison (PAL), which means she works with K-8 and high school families throughout the enrollment process. Amber has been with the Washington Virtual Academies since July 2007.
