WAVA's state-certified teachers average 15 years of experience in traditional school settings as well as virtual school environments. All of our teachers are committed to serving their students and helping you, the parent, every step of the way.

Seasoned Staff
The Washington Virtual Academies staff is dedicated to making our online school an ideal learning experience for all students. Additionally, the K¹² support staff handles the technology and other back-end business aspects for our school, providing all WAVA families with a strong technical support system.

Counselors
WAVA high school counselors play an integral role in a student’s academic experience. They monitor credit completion, ensuring students graduate on time, and offer assistance to students who are in Running Start and Skill Centers. As students prepare for college and/or careers, counselors provide guidance with school selections and application processes. Our counselors also offer student counseling and mediation and can refer students to outside services, as needed. Counselors are active in our school community and facilitate opportunities for community outreach and service projects.
