Quick Facts
What is a Park Day?
It's an education event that gives WAVA families the opportunity to mingle with their school community, and gives families interested in learning more a chance to see firsthand what it's like to be a part of our school program.
Who is this for?
This event is geared toward current WAVA families, as well as families interested in learning more about the online school experience and enrollment for the upcoming school year.
How many people may I bring with me?
Bring the whole family, and if you have friends who may be interested in WAVA, bring them as well!
Anything special I should know?
Families will receive discounted admission to the park at the Education Center, accessible through the Nisqually Entrance (SW Entrance). Please remember to stop by the Education Center to receive your discounted admission pass. Kids will receive a Junior Ranger activity book and earn a badge and certificate once they complete the education program.
Families can bring lunch into the park, or purchase their own on site. Save room for dessert, though, which we'll be providing!
The day’s events are open for families to attend at their discretion. We encourage you to attend one of three scheduled presentations at the Education Center. These sessions will begin promptly at 10 am, noon, or 3 pm.
