Steps to Enroll in Individual Courses
Use the process below only if you wish to enroll in individual UTVA courses as a supplement to your student's education at another Utah public school.
If you're interested in enrolling as a full-time Utah Virtual Academy student, please follow the process outlined on the Steps to Enroll Full Time page.
Enroll in Individual UTVA High School Courses
Step 1: Review the course offerings listed on our Individual High School Courses page and pick up to two online courses.
Step 2: Download, complete, and print the Student Information form. Then schedule a time to meet with your primary high school counselor. As part of the enrollment process he or she is required to review and approve your online course selection to ensure consistency with graduation requirements and any Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that may be in place.
Step 3: Set up an account for enrolling in individual courses so that we can help explain each step in the enrollment process.
Step 4: After you have reviewed your course selection from the form with your primary high school counselor, he or she will need to enter the required information into the Course Credit Acknowledgement (CCA) online form on the Utah State Office of Education website. Instructions for your counselor can be found on the Student Information form that you will print out in Step 2 above.
