How it Works (Grades 3-8)

TXVA is a tuition-free public charter school that uses the K¹² curriculum, which is accessed via an online school as well as through more traditional methods. Materials are delivered right to the family's doorstep—including books, CDs, microscopes, cell samples, and more.

We also partner parents and students with a state-certificated teacher to help guide and track their progress through the curriculum. Student-to-student interaction is emphasized, so TXVA students are always well-educated and well-socialized.

Who is this intended for?

TXVA currently serves students in grades 3-9 who live in Eastern and North Central Texas. For a detailed listing of the regional education service centers we serve, please visit our Enrollment Eligibility page.

What are the costs?

Because we are part of the public school system, TXVA is tuition free. The entire K12 curriculum is provided free of charge, as well as a loaner computer, printer, and Internet stipend.
