How are students evaluated?
Our student assessments include:
- K¹² lesson, unit, and semester assessments
- State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR)—Grades 3–8 / End of Course Exam (EOC)—High School
- Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS)—Grade 11 or any student beginning high school prior to the 2010–2011 school year
- Benchmark Testing
Do my children have to participate in state testing?
As a public ResponsiveEd charter school operating within the state of Texas through the Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN), all students are required to participate in state testing. Testing dates can be found on the TEA website or in the handbook.
