Customer Training Sessions
Great Start with K¹²
If you are new to K12, this section of seminars will help you get acclimated to the various aspects of K12 including the Online School (OLS) and managing many items including your teaching area and materials. We will spend time reviewing some tips and tricks in order to help you schedule, review lesson lists, check for missing attendance and lessons, and be there to answer your questions. Veteran K12 parents lead these seminars so remember; you’re never alone when you purchase K12. We’re here to offer support and insight to help you along your journey.
- Session: Parent Coffee House: Open Forum
This is an informal Elluminate session dedicated to discussions of recent homeschool topics and exploring additional thoughts and ideas regarding your life at home. Parents can join for a few minutes to ask questions or stay as long as you like. Veteran K12 parents host the Coffee House and welcome all K12’ers to stop by and share your thoughts, ask for ideas and suggestions or just receive encouragement.

- Session: OLS Exploration
This is a perfect seminar for brand new K12 families. We will review the basic components to the online school and answer questions. If you have not received your registration ID and/or are waiting on materials, use this time to learn more about the lesson structure.

K¹² Mile Markers
K¹² is pleased to offer a number of varied and educational online seminars focused on topics of interest to our customers. Each presentation is lead by a K¹² parent, K¹² staff member or outside presenter. Please review the list to see which seminar interests you. Many sessions are recorded and available within the Community Chest.
- Session: Parent Seminar: Keeping Motivated
K¹² parents share secrets to keeping motivated throughout the year and especially near the end of a typical school year. This is a must attend session for any parent who feels burned out during any particular time of year.

K¹² Expeditions
In support of our students, K¹² is excited to offer unique learning opportunities for K¹² students (and parents). These seminars are student focused in an effort to help your child build additional skills beyond the K¹² lessons to support their lifelong education. Each seminar will be recorded and accessible within the Community Chest Archives. All seminar times are Eastern.
- Session: Student Seminar on Elements of PowerPoint
Elementary and Middle School students will learn the basics of PowerPoint. This seminar is hosted by a Microsoft Certified Trainer and is available for all K12 students.
