Science is one of those subjects that has a lot of information, whether that's presented in books or gleaned through science experiments. The K¹² Science team had to figure out ways to get complex information through to students, without requiring them to buy expensive equipment or do experiments that might be dangerous. The team looked for the best experiments that kids could do safely in person, and created online labs for those that are more complex. But they made sure that both the hands-on and online activities were equally effective in helping non-scientists understand the material. Mission accomplished.
