Dear Families and Supporters of San Francisco Flex Academy,

San Francisco Flex Academy (SF Flex) is a new and exciting public charter high school opening this fall in downtown San Francisco, and enrolling high school students now!

SF Flex uses an innovative education model to provide your child with the best education possible. We are California's first full-time hybrid school, combining the best of online learning with traditional onsite education. This means that students come to school five days a week from approximately 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with clubs, tutoring, and sports available after school. We provide engaging and personalized learning that truly maximizes each student's full potential by having both onsite certified teachers to teach students, as well as state-of-the-art digital tools and online courses and resources.

SF flex uses the award-winning K¹² curriculum, which has been developed by some of the best minds in education. This rigorous, content-rich curriculum meets or exceeds state standards across all subject areas.

K¹² is the nation's largest provider of online learning for grades K-12. All K¹² schools in California are WASC-accredited, and graduates from K¹² schools have gone on to attend every University of California campus, as well as prestigious colleges nationwide.

By enrolling in SF Flex, you are partnering with a team of knowledgeable and experienced educators. Highly qualified, California-credentialed teachers at the school will provide professional insight, instruction, and support for the students while using K¹²'s systems to monitor progress and content mastery. Our administrative staff is committed to the success of every child in the program. And since SF Flex is a public school, students will demonstrate their knowledge and skills through school assessments, as well as required state standardized tests.
