Standard Kit	Contains items required to complete a majority of the K12 online lessons. These items are either proprietary or may be difficult to find in the marketplace.
Consumables Kit	Contains workbooks and other items from the Standard Kit that cannot be reused. We recommend you purchase the Standard Kit for your first child enrolled in a course and the Consumables Kit for subsequent children enrolled in the same course (for example, twins, younger siblings).
Upgrade Kit	Contains the additional items required to complete the K12 online lessons not included in the Standard Kit. These items are non-proprietary and/or easily found in the marketplace. We recommend you purchase the Upgrade Kit and the Standard Kit for your child.
Booster Kit	K12 offers a Booster Kit for Language Arts 1. If your student has the Standard Kit from Language Arts K, we recommend you purchase the Booster Kit for Language Arts 1.
Student Pages	Student Pages are printed copies of the student worksheets and additional learning materials available electronically in the K12 Online School. You can purchase these pre-printed and bound Student Pages from K12 rather than downloading and printing the online versions.
Teacher Pages	Teacher Pages are printed copies of the teacher guides and answer keys available electronically in the K12 Online School. You can purchase these pre-printed and bound Teacher Pages from K12 rather than downloading and printing the online versions.

High School Materials
While some Consumer Direct High School courses do not have a materials requirement – all of the content is provided within the online course – there are several courses which require the purchase of physical materials such as novels, textbooks or calculators. Please review the Course Descriptions for details. Most required materials (except calculators) are offered for sale by K12 or they can be purchased through your local bookstore or an online vendor such as Amazon, Borders or Barnes & Noble.
