Herndon, VA (November 15, 2007)—On Friday, the Chief Learning Officer of K12 Inc., Dr. Bror Saxberg, will participate in an online learning webinar, one of many activities during National Distance Learning Week (NDLW).
The free webinar titled, “Is Online Learning Right for You?: Ways to Succeed in an Online Course,” is scheduled for Friday, November 16 at 2pm EST.
Dr. Bror Saxberg leads a team of experts at K12 who have developed a curriculum based on cognitive science, decades of research about learning, and tried-and-true methodologies. K12 uses technology in an effective and efficient way to deliver rigorous and individualized education programs to students regardless of geographic, financial or demographic circumstance.
NDLW (November 12-16) is sponsored by the United States Distance Learning Association and, according to Dr. Kenneth Hartman, chairman of NDLW, was created “to celebrate and create greater awareness of distance learning, and to recognize leaders and best practices in the field.”
