Grades 3–12

Texas Online Preparatory School, a program of Huntsville Independent School District, is accredited by the Texas Education Agency and AdvancED. It provides advanced learners in grades 3–12 with a rigorous education tailored to their needs. To attend, students must meet a minimum passing standard on the previous year's STAAR scores, have had 90% attendance during the prior school year, show proof of prior Texas public school enrollment, and (for high school students) be on track to graduate. The school offers a robust Advanced Learner Program for younger grades. High school students can take AP® courses, get ahead with dual enrollment options in college courses, and graduate with endorsement plans such as STEM and arts and humanities. Students can participate in National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society activities. Student clubs, outings, and field trips help students connect.

Texas Virtual Academy
