When your child is newly-enrolled in the Ohio Virtual Academy, there is much for parents to learn.\xa0It is the goal of our\xa0staff to support you in that process so that you have a successful year. One important and necessary step is to attend a K-8 New Parent Orientation. You will\xa0get helpful information about school policies and procedures, and learn about the role of the OHVA teacher in your student's education\u2014information you can't receive from any other source.
You will also have access to a K\xb9\xb2 \"Introduction to Online Learning\" course when you start the school year. K-8 New Parent Orientations are required for all learning coaches who are new to OHVA.

When your child is newly-enrolled in the Ohio Virtual Academy, there is much for parents to learn.\xa0It is the goal of our\xa0staff to support you in that process so that you have a successful year. One important and necessary step is to attend a K-8 New Parent Orientation. You will\xa0get helpful information about school policies and procedures, and learn about the role of the OHVA teacher in your student's education\u2014information you can't receive from any other source.
You will also have access to a K\xb9\xb2 \"Introduction to Online Learning\" course when you start the school year. K-8 New Parent Orientations are required for all learning coaches who are new to OHVA.
