How it Works (K-8)
The NVVA K-8 Program
The Nevada Virtual Academy is a tuition-free public school that uses the K¹² curriculum, which is accessed via an online school as well as through more traditional methods. Materials are delivered right to the family's doorstep—including books, CDs, and even bags of rocks and dirt.
We also partner parents and students with a state-licensed teacher to help guide and track their progress through the curriculum.
Student-to-student interaction is emphasized too, so NVVA students are always well educated and well socialized.

Who is this intended for?
The Nevada Virtual Academy serves Nevada-resident students in grades K-8 throughout the state.
What are the costs?
Because we are part of the public school system, the Nevada Virtual Academy is tuition-free. The entire K12 curriculum is provided free of charge, as well as a loaner computer, printer, and Internet stipend.
