How it Works (K-8)
The NJVACS K–8 Program
New Jersey Virtual Academy Charter School will be a tuition-free online public school that uses the K¹² curriculum, which is accessed via an Online School as well as through more traditional methods. Materials are delivered right to the family's doorstep—including books, CDs, and even microscopes and cell samples.
We'll also partner parents and students with a certified teacher to help guide and track their progress through the curriculum.
Student-to-student interaction will be emphasized too, so NJVACS students will always be well-educated and well-socialized.
Who is this intended for?
The New Jersey Virtual Academy Charter School K–8 program will serve students in grades K–8 who reside within the state of New Jersey.
What are the costs?
Because we are part of the public school system, New Jersey Virtual Academy Charter School will be tuition free. The K¹² curriculum will be provided free of charge, as well as a loaner computer system, printer, and Internet stipend.
