Dear Parents and Students,
MNVA-HS is a proud member of Houston Public Schools, which is located in the river bluffs of Southeast Minnesota. Houston Public Schools, along with MNVA, has been a leader in online education in Minnesota and nationally for the past eight years. The mission at MNVA High School is to help students “discover, develop, and achieve the potential within all learners.” Through our individualized approach to education, we strive to provide students with a thorough, rich experience. When our students graduate from High School, they will have the necessary tools to be successful in college and life.
The Minnesota Virtual Academy High School uses the award-winning K¹² curriculum. The K¹² curriculum is the hallmark of online curriculum, providing challenging content-rich coursework that meets or exceeds state standards, allowing students to perform well on standardized tests. The K¹² curriculum is developed by some of the finest minds in the country who work together to provide a rich, thorough, and rewarding curriculum designed to help students think, analyze, and work at a higher level.
MNVA-HS Teachers are dedicated to helping all students achieve their success in school. Along with support staff, counselors, and administration, teachers embrace the tremendous responsibility and honor bestowed on us by our families. Our goal is to help all of our students reach their potential through the self-rewarding experiences that MNVA High School offers.
