How to Enroll

Important Announcement

We're still accepting applications for students in grades K8, however, all applicants are being placed on our waitlist.

As space becomes available, applicants are being approved in the order in which they are sufficient with the required steps outlined below.

Please note that certain target groups will have priority for enrollment.

Steps to Enroll

1: Complete the online enrollment application.

New families set up a user account.

Have you already set up an account? Continue your enrollment or check your student's enrollment status.

If you are enrolling a kindergartener, please note that you must confirm with your resident district what the age requirement is for Kindergarten enrollment in that district. For Kindergarten enrollment, we are bound by resident district policy.

Submit forms and documentation

After you have completed the online application, download and submit the required forms included in the MAVA at Greenfield Enrollment Forms Packet:

Unless otherwise specified, please fax the documents to 877.890.5481, or scan and e-mail to mavafax@K12.com.

This e-mail address is a secure inbox for required compliance documents; it is not meant for correspondence. For questions on the enrollment process, please contact your assigned Personal Admissions Liaison (PAL).

If you are unable to fax or e-mail your documents, please mail them to:

ATTN: Massachusetts Virtual Academy at Greenfield Enrollment Processing Center
c/o K12 Inc.
2300 Corporate Park Drive
Suite 200
Herndon, VA 20171

As a reminder, students with a special education IEP must involve their resident district's IEP team in the enrollment process by arranging an IEP meeting, to include a representative from Greenfield, to discuss virtual education. Students must also provide record of the last grade completed.

Our goal is to have the 2011–2012 enrollment process take no more than one week to complete. Please submit these additional required documents within 7–10 days of completing the online application in order to achieve this goal.

Admissions Conference

Once you submit your application, you will be assigned a Personal Admissions Liaison (PAL) who will assist you through the enrollment process, answer all of your questions, and conduct your admissions conference over the phone. During this conference, your PAL will verify your student's information, relay school policies, and review the responsibilities of both the student and the Learning Coach.

Approval!

Upon receipt and successful review of submitted documents, your student will be approved. You may review your student's enrollment status by logging in to your online account.

Thanks for your interest in the MAVA at Greenfield! We look forward to you and your family joining our school program community soon.
