Lawrence Virtual High School (LVHS) is a proud member of Lawrence Public Schools USD 497. Lawrence Public Schools, along with LVS, has been a leader in online education in Kansas—and nationally—for many years. The mission at Lawrence Virtual High School is to help students discover, develop, and achieve the potential that's within all learners. Through our individualized approach to education, we strive to provide students with a thorough, rich experience. When our students graduate from high school, they will have the necessary tools to be successful in college and life.

Lawrence Virtual High School uses the award-winning K¹² curriculum. The K¹² curriculum is the hallmark of online curriculum, providing challenging content-rich coursework that meets or exceeds state standards, allowing students to perform well on standardized tests. The K¹² curriculum is developed by some of the finest minds in the country who work together to provide a rich, thorough, and rewarding curriculum designed to help students think, analyze, and work at a higher level.

LVHS teachers are dedicated to helping all students achieve their success in school. Along with support staff, counselors, and administration, teachers embrace the tremendous responsibility and honor bestowed upon us by our families.
