Enrollment & Attendance FAQs
Who can attend LVS and LVHS?
The Lawrence Virtual School and Lawrence Virtual High School serve students in grades K–12 who reside within the state of Kansas. High school students may not have been expelled from a Kansas public school in order to attend.
How do I enroll my child in the Lawrence Virtual School or Lawrence Virtual High School?
To find out how to enroll in LVS or LVHS, visit our How to Enroll page.
How many of my children can I enroll?
Because we provide all the lesson plans and materials needed for kindergarten through grade 10, many parents find it easy to enroll multiple children in the program. We currently have families with as many as five children in the program being guided by one learning coach or mentor in conjunction with the support of teachers.
What does it cost to attend the Lawrence Virtual School or Lawrence Virtual High School?
Since LVS and LVHS are public school programs of Lawrence School District, there is no tuition. However, students and families will be responsible for providing some consumable materials (such as school supplies), as well as an annual $97 technology and instructional materials fee for students enrolling in grades K–8.
