Register now for our Education Showcase

For families thinking about enrolling, with only a month left to enroll your K-8 student for the fall (enrollment ends July 31), this is your best chance to get the information you need to make an informed decision about enrolling in the Lawrence Virtual School. And after you learn about us, learn about Science at Science City—admission courtesy of LVS and K¹²!

For families already enrolled, have some fun with other LVS families and classmates and spread the good word about your school while you and the kids check out Science City—all courtesy of LVS and K¹².

Who are these events for?
This event is open to all families interested in LVS and enrolling in grades K-8. Enrolled LVS families are also welcome and are encouraged to bring friends who may be interested in learning more.

Why should I attend the LVS Showcase?
With enrollment officially closing on July 31, this may be the last opportunity for you to receive the information you need to enroll your student. Interested in hearing about what to expect from the coming school year? Want to find out enrollment details and particulars? Need to meet face-to-face with the LVS head of school? This may be your only opportunity to do all of this before July 31!

Where will this event take place?
All presentations and demonstrations will occur at the H&R Block City Stage. Afterwards, families will have the opportunity to enjoy Science City (located adjacent to the City Stage). In addition, there will be ample opportunities to visit with LVS teachers and staff.

Food and drink
Families should plan on making arrangements for lunch and/or snacks, as this event will not feature food or refreshments

Parking
A 4-level parking garage is located on the west side of Union Station. The first 3 hours are free; each additional half-hour is $1. Parking is also available in the front parking lot for $1 for 0-2 hours, $2 for 2-4 hours, and $10 for more than 4 hours. Unfortunately, ticket validations are no longer provided by Union Station.

Please visit the Union Station website for driving directions from all points, as well as an interactive tool for door-to-door directions. There’s also a downloadable map available for families to plan for their arrival and find the LVS Showcase with ease!
