LVS’ administrators are professionals dedicated to making a virtual school a very real learning experience. Here are the people who work behind the scenes to keep LVS responsive to your needs.
Gary Lewis is Head of School. Gary brings 19 years of education experience to LVS, including middle, high school, and college teaching experience. A product of private schools, Gary has a great deal of respect for both private and public schooling. He focuses on the quality of the education—no matter where it occurs. Gary is a PhD candidate at the University of Kansas in curriculum and instruction, with a minor in special education.
Jana Lloyd is the Assistant Head of School and directs the high school program. She joined LVS in its infancy, teaching both middle and high school science. Her passion for educating the whole student and meeting their individual needs is evidenced by her students' success.
