College and Career Resources

In addition to hands-on counseling, students and families also have access to additional college and career planning resources through a comprehensive guidance counseling system. The guidance counseling system provides students with a single place to keep all the information about schools and careers they’re considering, and helps them track all milestones en route to reaching their destination. It also includes assessments to help students identify their particular learning style, personality profile, and other personal insights as key inputs in the college and career planning cycle. This system lets students search thousands of colleges and careers, build multi-year plans, research college scholarships, investigate requirements for various careers—all from a single system. And because it’s integrated with the counselor’s office, it helps everyone stay in sync, no matter how many times students change their minds about their future!

The K12 International Academy also provides K¹²9¹² “College and Career Source,” a proprietary college and career planning portal, complete with hundreds of links to best-in-class resources hand-picked by K12 experts to help guide students and families through every step of the college and/or career planning process.
