Step 5. Administer Placement Tests (K-9 only)
If you are enrolling a student in grades K-9, administer the K¹² Math and Language Arts placement tests, which will help us to determine the appropriate courses for your student. Your student may start the placement tests (Step 3) while you are gathering the required forms (Step 2).
To take the placement tests, log in to your Enrollment Dashboard and click “Begin” in the Tests column next to your student's name. You will receive detailed instructions there.
Log in to Enrollment Dashboard
If your student is enrolling in grades 10-12, no placement tests are required. Instead, you will need to submit an official school transcript to help us determine the appropriate courses for your student.
Step 6. Placement ConferenceAfter you've completed steps 1 and 3, a placement specialist will contact you to discuss your student's course level and the school’s academic policies.
Step 7. Receive Enrollment Confirmation Letter
Once all steps above are competed, you will receive an Enrollment Confirmation Letter.
Admissions Appeal Process
Any applicant who is denied admission and wishes to appeal the decision may do so by submitting a letter of written appeal to the K12 International Academy Admissions Appeal Committee. The committee will review all written appeals to determine whether a student is eligible for admission due to special circumstances. Parents/guardians will be informed of the appeal decision no later than 30 calendar days after the K12 International Academy receives the written appeal. All K12 International Academy appeal decisions are final.
