What are IDVA Discovery Days?
Discovery Days are events sponsored by the Idaho Virtual Academy and K¹², designed to get parents and families acquainted—or reacquainted as the case may be—with our school and our curriculum.
Who are Discovery Days for?
Discovery Days are for currently enrolled families, and are the perfect opportunity for them to take a mental break from the heat of summer and dream about the cool, refreshing air of fall—and the return of their kids to school at the Idaho Virtual Academy.
Discovery Days are also for families thinking about enrolling their children in the Idaho Virtual Academy. These education events will offer complete information about the Idaho Virtual Academy and K¹²—the country's leading online curriculum provider
How many people may I bring with me?
Bring the whole family. If you have friends who may be interested in the Idaho Virtual Academy, bring them as well. But remember, attendance to the DARE sessions, Learning Labs, and other activities is limited, so pre-registration for these events is a must.
Anything special I should know?
On-site registration will begin at 8:30 am (except for our Coeur d'Alene location, which will begin at 10:00 am). Please leave ample time to check in, as each Discovery Day will begin promptly at 9:00 am (Coeur d'Alene, 11:00 am). And while we will be providing food for thought at these events, we won't be providing food for stomachs, so please plan on bringing lunch and snacks for your family.
