Whether you're already enrolled and coming back for another great year at the Idaho Virtual Academy, or you're thinking about enrolling and would like to learn more, the IDVA Birds of Prey xPo is an exciting, informative place to be.
This will be one of the first opportunities to learn about virtual schooling and enrollment for the 2009-2010 school year, which will officially open on March 16. Families interested in learning more about virtual schooling and the K12 curriculum will have the opportunity to attend four separate sessions, including three break-out meetings, on the following topics:
- K-5 Virtual Schooling with IDVA and the K12 Curriculum
- Middle and High school with IDVA and the K12 Curriculum
- Meet IDVA Teachers and Administrators
The second hour of each session will include a special live bird presentation hosted by the World Center for Birds of Prey, which may include: Peregrine falcons, northern harriers, red tail hawks, a Swainsons hawk, and American kestrels. We have to say "may include" because, according to the handlers, “Birds are like teenagers—you have to see what kind of mood they're in that day.”
