Leon Virtual Instruction Program
Follow these initial steps below to begin the enrollment process for your K-8 student(s) in the Leon Virtual Instruction Program for the 2009-2010 school year. Additional steps may be required by the school district and families will be notified once they are available.
Enrollment Steps
Step 1. Complete Online Enrollment ApplicationSet up a user account and complete the online enrollment application.
REMINDER: Due to the prior public eligibility requirement, kindergarten enrollment is limited to students who are dependent children of a member of the U.S. Armed Forces who was transferred within the last 12 months pursuant to a permanent change of station or received full funding in the 08-09 Survey 2 and 3 counts as part of a special education program. Eligible kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1, 2009, in order to enroll.
Step 2. Submit Required Documents
After you have completed the online application, fax the following documents to the number below:
- Current (30 days or less) proof of residence, i.e. water/electricity bill, phone bill, etc.
- Final 2008-2009 report card for each student
- FCAT scores and/or other assessments for each student (when available)
- 7th grade immunizations for each student (as appropriate)
- Current IEP or 504 plan, if applicable, for each student
Upon receipt and successful review of submitted documents, you will be contacted with additional steps to complete your student(s) enrollment which may include visiting your district office. You may review your student’s enrollment status by logging in to your online account .
