    Motion and Forces

Push and glide. Push and glide. The wheels on your skates whisper as you roll along.  Science may be a long way from your mind; but it isn't a long way from the sport.  Energy you use skating produces motion.  Motion can be changed by Force.  When you're having fun skating, these and many other forces come into play.  Motion in a particular direction is velocity.  Wow!  Who knew that understanding science could help you become a better skater!  Come have fun with us on your field trip and find out more!!

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Check-in and payment will begin at 10:45 am.
