How to Enroll

Enrollment for the 2011–2012 school year is now closed.

Eligibility Requirements

Please ensure you meet the following eligibility requirements for enrolling in a K¹² Florida Virtual Instruction Program prior to completing the online enrollment application.

Eligible students:

  • were enrolled full-time in the Florida Public Schools for the 2010–2011 school year and included in the October 2010 and February 2011 FTE (Full Time Enrollment) Counts*, or
  • are siblings of a student who is currently enrolled in a full-time Florida District Virtual Program and continuing for the 2011–2012 school year, or
  • are dependent children of a member of the U.S. Armed Forces who was transferred within the last 12 months pursuant to a permanent change of station

* Entering kindergarten and first grade students are exempt from the prior public requirement and are eligible to enroll.

Steps to Enroll

1: Complete the online enrollment application.

Submit forms and documentation

After you have completed the online application, download and submit the required forms in the Florida Enrollment Forms Packet.

Admissions Conference

Once you submit your application, you will be assigned a Personal Admissions Liaison (PAL) who will assist you through the enrollment process, answer all of your questions, and conduct your admissions conference over the phone. During this conference, your PAL will verify your student's information, relay school policies, and review the responsibilities of both the student and the Learning Coach.

Approval!

Upon completion of district enrollment requirements along with receipt and successful review of submitted documents your student's registration will be sent to your District Administrator for approval. Once you have been approved by your District School, you will be notified and enrollment will be finalized.
