Meet Jessi Sigander, K12 International Academy High School English Teacher
After getting a master's degree in education, Jessi Sigander worked for five years in a traditional school and has now been with K12 for the past two years. She teaches ninth, eleventh, and twelfth grade K12 International Academy classes with students around the world.
Jessi's classes typically meet together online twice a week. Using a web-based meeting tool, her students can see her Power Point presentations, hear her lectures, ask questions and have live discussions—across a global village. Outside of class, students have plenty of opportunities to connect with one another. Jessi also conferences with each student and does tutoring as needed.
