Psychology (Elective)
Course Description
In this introduction to psychology, students focus on the scientific study of human development, learning, motivation, and personality. The course emphasizes the empirical examination of behavior and mental processes, and encourages understanding of cultural diversity. Students acquire information from a variety of sources to make decisions and solve problems, while learning to recognize and cope with uncertainty and ambiguity in human behavior.
