American Government

Course Description

Through an exploration of five major U.S. cities, students collect information about the Constitution, the federal bureaucracy, and the three branches of government. During this exploration, students also learn about a variety of public policy issues, from family structure to affirmative action. They select five issues and complete five projects in which they make the same kinds of decisions expected of voting-age Americans.
