Independent Study and World Language Courses

We offer start dates every 2 weeks for both Independent Study courses and Teacher-Supported World Language courses. Duration of these courses is 12 months for full-year courses and 6 months for semester courses.

Teacher-Supported Courses 2014-2015

Duration of these courses is 10 months for full-year courses and 5 months for semester courses.

Students are provided with two calendar options for the spring AP courses: one follows the regular pacing and the other is condensed allowing students to finish coursework prior to sitting for AP Exams in May.

K¹²'s Summer School Program

Options include:

  • Unique World Language samplers and high-tech electives that give kids a summer of learning with courses that further their interests, and fit easily into their schedules.
  • Math, English, and Science for rising eighth graders to help them prepare for high school. Also, students from grades 3–12 can accelerate their skills with our World Language courses in Spanish, French, Chinese, German, and Latin.
  • Sixteen proven courses for credit recovery, including Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, U.S. History, American Literature, and more.

Enrollment dates will be available in the spring, 2015.
