The California Virtual Academies, a highly effective network of public charter schools, provides an individualized, standards-based education for students in the state of California. Our team of hard-working, highly-qualified staff works as partners with parents to provide an innovative and challenging education that focuses on traditional instructional models to promote mastery of the California State Standards. California Virtual Academies believes parents are integral in the acquisition of knowledge and works to strengthen family values, promote character, and provide skill mastery through the use of technology and the K¹² curriculum. We are a rapidly growing organization that offers our teachers and staff members the excitement of exploring an emerging concept in education.
Virtual schools are new models in public education that look both to what we know works well when educating children, and to how technology can help us implement strategies to improve and enhance the learning experience for a child. Virtual school teachers are part of a pioneering effort. Our teachers, therefore, need to share our school's pioneering mission and approach. We are looking for California-credentialed teachers with a preferred minimum of three years of teaching experience. Teachers must reside in California.
