How to Enroll

Enrollment for students in grades K-12 for the 2009-2010 school year is now open! K12 and the California Virtual Academies get your kids thinking big. Don’t miss your chance to make a change in your student’s education.

As of June 16, 2009, CAVA@Jamestown (serving counties of Alpine, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono and Tuolumne) had reached its enrollment cap. Any enrollment applications received prior to this date will be processed for enrollment; however, all applications received after this date will be placed on a waitlist, and applicants will be notified and processed as seats become available. Please note that all other CAVA schools are still actively accepting applicants.

Step 1. Complete Online Application

Are you a returning family, or have you already set up an account? Continue your enrollment or check your student’s enrollment status.

Enrollment is limited to residents of certain counties. Please fill in your county of residence in the online application to ensure the correct CAVA school is selected.

Please note that kindergarten students must be five years old by December 2, 2009, in order to enroll.

Step 2. Provide Required Forms
After you have completed the online application, fax or mail the following required documents:

• Download the CAVA Enrollment Forms Packet specific to your county

Our goal is to have the 2009-2010 enrollment process take no more than two weeks to complete. Please submit these additional required documents within 7-10 days of completing the online application in order to achieve this goal.

Step 3. Approval
Upon receipt and successful review of submitted documents your student will be approved. You may review your student’s enrollment status by logging in to your account.
