John Tracy Sloane graduated from the University of Virginia and completed his graduate work at Marymount University. He has more than 15 years of experience in education at both the elementary and middle-school levels. Tracy specializes in working with at-risk and low-ability students and students whose first language is not English. Tracy is a Highly Qualified teacher as well as a certified school administrator. Tracy is currently in his second year with CAPCS Online.

Nancy Brosnahan is originally from Long Island, New York. She attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and graduated with a B.A. in Elementary in 1988. Mrs. Brosnahan completed her M.Ed. at George Mason University in 1994 with a specialization in Research and Language Arts. Mrs. Brosnahan worked as a teacher of grades 2-3 in the City of Manassas Public Schools from 1989-1998. She then taught second and third grade at the Apple Tree Pre-School and Academy in Manassas, VA where her children attended pre-school. She returned to the City of Manassas Public Schools in 2002, where she served as a specialist in gifted and talented education for grades K-3 until 2007.

Jill Chen is originally from New York City. She is a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA with a BA in Secondary Education, Mathematics. She is presently pursuing a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction Mathematics. Ms. Chen has worked in several local school districts, including Baltimore County and Montgomery County as a teacher of middle school mathematics. She has also taught the Montessori curriculum for a combined class of preschool and kindergarten students. Ms. Chen is a former CAPCS Online parent.
