Who grades student work?

Both parents and teachers grade student work. On a day-to-day basis, parents review student work. Student work is also reviewed online by teachers daily, and physical work is sent to teachers periodically for their expert review. Every two weeks the teacher has a conference (by phone) with the parent and student to review student progress. Teachers also assign semester grades.

What tests are required as part of the program?

In addition to K¹² lesson, unit, and semester assessments, CAPCS Online students will participate in city-wide testing.

Do I have to participate in city-wide testing?

All students are required to participate in city-wide testing as well as the enrollment audit, and are subject to dismissal if they do not participate.
