How it Works (K-8)

The AZVA K-8 Program

The Arizona Virtual Academy is a tuition-free public school that uses the K¹² curriculum, which is accessed via an online school as well as through more traditional methods. Materials are delivered right to the family's doorstep—including books, CDs, and even bags of rocks and dirt.

We also partner parents and students with a state-certified, Highly Qualified teacher to guide and track their progress through the curriculum. There are monthly scheduled conferences that occur online or via phone as well.

Student-to-student interaction is emphasized too, so AZVA students are always well educated and well socialized.

Who is this intended for?

The Arizona Virtual Academy K-8 program serves Arizona-resident students in grades K-8 throughout the state.

What are the costs?

Because we are part of the public school system, the Arizona Virtual Academy is tuition-free. The entire K12 curriculum is provided free of charge.
