Quick Facts
What are the AZVA Back-to-School Pizza Parties?
These are school community social events that give families the opportunity to learn about the AZVA community and gear up to go back to school while enjoying a fun, friendly pizza party! Families who are interested in learning more can get answers to their questions from school representatives, chat about 2009-2010 enrollment (there’s still time to join AZVA for this school year!), and chat with enrolled families and other students about virtual schooling with the K¹² curriculum. And everyone gets to enjoy pizza, courtesy of AZVA and K¹²!
Who's this for?
This event is open to both current families and families interested in learning more about the online school experience. Whether you're already enrolled or just interested in learning more about this school option for Arizona students, there's something for everyone!
How many people may I bring with me?
You can bring up to six people with you, and if you have friends who may be interested in online schooling, encourage them to register early to secure their spots. Space is limited, though, so don’t wait!
Anything special I should know?
AZVA and K¹² will provide a selection of pizzas with a variety of toppings (sorry, no special orders!). Families who have special dietary restrictions or food allergies should make alternate arrangements if they would like to join us for these events. Beverages, additional menu items, and games or rides will be the responsibility of families and will not be covered by AZVA and K¹².
Can’t make it?
Join us for a K¹² Online xPo on Monday, July 27! You’ll get all the information you need about K12 and the virtual public school programs in your area—without having to leave home! You’ll hear from teachers, parents, and students—the authorities on the subject—in an interactive online forum. You don’t want to miss these innovative events!
